"High On The Mountain Top"
Old and Grey for fear of fainting I stumble to the phone to remind my children of yesterday’s memories. I proposed to their Mother, a perfect lady, to be my wife on the peaks of the mountain range a honeymoon day with vows, it echoes and echoes in the canyon that binds us together forever with a smile and a song of glee so perfectly happy on that day. Now I wake from yesterday's dreams a cry to caress the wedding gown I remember her in my arms pregnant with our children, to believe in Godly ways with faith and loyalty for us to hold onto all through the years. Today my wedding anniversary - the children surprised me with a visit to the mountain range where we were married, they helped me climb that peak beneath the canyons deep to see her in a memory, waving to me in a faded shawl.
