Precious Sleep
Precious Sleep, why do you avoid me? I only want a few hours of your time each night. Yawning, trying to keep my eyes open makes it difficult to focus on the day. I have ignored your necessity in the past and for that I apologize. I am older and wiser now and have learned from experience To protect and worship Precious Sleep. Precious Sleep, can you spare a few hours for me? I will follow any rules you set. I promise not to abuse you, Precious Sleep, With caffeine, sugar or any artificial substance. Life is so much more vivid after you have visited. I will await for you again tonight, Precious Sleep, Hoping that you will grace me with your presence.
