I Saw Your Ship I saw your ship - it passed me in the night Between the jumpgates of this allied home. My eyes were drawn to its impressive lights Emanating from the structure's dome. The strobes belied the military might Applied as interstellar fine-toothed comb To strike a brace of quad-beam laser fright In lands where pirate-hearted Angels roam. The majesty of your battleship incites My fear to condensate into a poem Or two, if this should swell up to a height Inspiring words enough to fill a tome. As flattery fails, I hope this isn't trite: I saw your ship - and what an awesome sight.
