Before I introduce my Stars, I would like to take a moment to thank the FABULOUS Gabriella for creating such an AWESOME program! Of all the wonderful people I have met on this site, Gabriella is the most giving and caring woman. She was the very first person to pin a ribbon on my little story, and in doing so, she filled my heart with encouragement. That is what I hope to give back and pass forward to My 'Rising Stars' as well.

I have a private little garden,
where I have planted friendship.
Each day I watch it blossom,
and I tend it with care.
In this lovely garden
all my friends are there,
and amongst the gracious flowers,
one little flower stands apart;
her stem standing tall,
she guides the way for all.
Her outstretched leaves encircle the rest.
Her tender petals spread love and joy,
bringing sunshine into our garden.

Jaye P. Marshall ~WDC Birthday~
December 5th, 2007

Today I received word that my Rising Star, Jaye P. Marshall has passed away.  My heart is very sad, and WDC has lost a very special writer and friend. I am glad she will be remembered for all of her wonderful stories by becoming a white case.  I will miss my very first Rising Star very much.  Rest in peace, dear Jaye, in Jesus name I pray, amen.
