On the Top of the Hill
I tried to be poetic here.

I onced loved and now I cry,
but my tears shall not be for long
for off in the distance I hear my
lover true bellowing out my name.

I run to the hill side to see if it's
really him or just my imagination
playing tricks on me.

I hear my name again and this time it's
closer than the first. It sounds like its
coming from the top of the hill. I look up
and see him standing there - on top of the hill.
He looks down and sees me. Love beaming
out from his handsome face and big, brown
beautiful eyes that holds me lovingly
in their gaze.

He stands atop the hill handsome, majestically,
and strong, yet weary from the fight. He looks
the victor and proud of it and my heart is
suffused with love at the sight of him. My lips
utter words of love to him as he races down
from the hill top hurrying to take me in
his arms.

I onced loved, but now I cry, but
my tears shall not be for long for
on top of hill stands my lover true
and in his arms is where I belong.
