Broken Door
Still, a door.

A Broken Door

Something inside me wants you to come in
Can't begin tell you how or even give a clue
Of my haunting fire smoldering within

I've been flayed, scorched and tossed aside
Can't begin to show my battle wounds
They're hidden, dark and way deep inside

Through shattered windows I see your light
Filtered through the dust it shines through
Some of your good, your just, your right

Inside I'm waiting, lying on the floor
Rescue me, your hope shining true
Knock down this beaten, broken door.
