Maverick Sky

Bring on another day;
Sunrise the proud cocks’ crow.
Onward the daily grind.
Known now the way to go.

Yielding to journeys met,
Of when, where, who, and why.
Dreams of you seeping through
A filtered maverick sky.

Lofty heights, soul in sight,
None now could see but you.
Kind graceful staff of Light;
Life tales practiced, and true.

Gavel in hand, growth a man,
To clear all darkness brewed.
This grind, without dull whine,
Force pictures bright in hue.

Hours pass, minutes too,
Helpless waned, days of blue.
Time strikes the golden chime,
So all can breathe anew.

Stepping fast, true the pace,
In grace the way I knew.
