FACES AND FEET


Women have many faces,
One for each occasion.
Which face to show and when is
A source of confusion.

For men it is easier:
Put the best foot forward.
Choosing one of the two feet
Is not a big hazard.

Women, you are multi-faced,
Your minds must be multi-paced!



• Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 format, ending with an aa, 7-7 couplet.
• Written as a decastitch, a ten-line poem, for the Pond Poetry contest, "Pond Poetry" , round 10, organised by Kaya .
