KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM
Humans are of many kinds; One’s kind one’s free to choose. Some have rather prim morals And some have rather loose. Some know a thing, some do not. If they don’t know, they look Inside that tome of knowledge, Simply known as a book. But for some looking up a Book is too much a task. Simply like ignorant fools, Each passer- by they ask. When a fool meets another, They counsel each other, Happy in the thought that they Have found a true brother. Lord, take away ignorance, Make me intelligent. Please grant that those whom I meet Be wise, not ignorant. • Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 format M C Gupta 17 August 2008
