NEVER SAY DIE
Though world is not the sweetest place, Though tragedies we daily face, Though spurned by those whom we embrace, Yet, keep a face, never say die. Friends often become enemies. One cannot all in this world please. To some wickedness comes with ease. Tolerate all, never say die. Though your son may turn against you, Though your wife may poison your brew, Though fate may all your plans subdue, Keep on dreaming, never say die. The contours of the life are broad. Be honest, naught is gained by fraud. Self help is rewarded by God. Live fearlessly, never say die. • Written in aaaB, 8-8-8-8 format • Awarded first prize in the **Virtues of Poetry Contest**, "**Virtues of Poetry Contest**" M C Gupta 17 August 2008
