"Forever Lost"

As her hurtful words pierce through my heart.
I wish to myself we could go back to the start.

To the time when we fist met and our love was new.
When everything was perfect and her eye's so blue.

We spent every minute together no matter the cost.
She was all that mattered to me, even if friends wer lost.

Many years passed by and we even lived together.
It only seemed fitting that we made it forever.

I felt so euphoric that day I said " I Do"
I felt you were perfect for me and me for you.

For before we met I had never even been kissed.
Never in my thoughts did I think those days would be missed.

I am not sure how or when our love became so faded.
Did we spend too much time together? Did you feel jaded?

How could the Woman I have loved so very much.
Not want to be around me or even feel my touch?

I would do anything to get Our love back, no matter the cost.
But I think we are too far gone and our Love is forever lost.
