Health Warrior Returns
taking back my health after many sick days

Committing to the moment
    Sneakers on
Each foot in front of the other

Sun warming an exercised flush face
    Breathing in and out
The compulsion to move

I take to the route
Claim my health with each stride
Deciding how far I'll push today

            Sunlight is refreshing
      Crisp air intoxicating
I walk, therefore I breathe, therefore I am

Now Warrior Pose
Stretching, lifting up to the sky
          Strength pulses through my muscles

The wind, the rain, the cold
    Are no match
Woman, I, hear me roar
