A Legal Lay…

A Legal Lay…

At times like these with deficits high
Suggestions start to multiply
Of where to go to get more cash
Before our country starts to crash…

To legalize a thing or two
Would bring in untold revenue.
By taxing what’s done anyway
We’d free ourselves, kiss debt away…

The cash that prostitution reaps
Is tax-free!  Most just goes to creeps!
In cities and in towns they live—
The prostitute who aims to give...

They’ve been around five thousand years,
The tax-free dollar disappears
Into the world of violent crime—
The I.R.S. sees not a dime.

Society looks down on whores;
But think!  To have a chain of stores
Soliciting a legal lay—
Our bills we’d pay on “layaway”.*Bigsmile*
