The Nothingness in Me

A shadow fading slowly
against an empty wall
an echo in the distance
but mere whispers that you call
from the shutter deep within you
right before you stall
to the stumble upon nothingness
that causes you to fall

To a void and empty feeling
that lies here within
from the cold that does instill you
where the darkness hides therein
To the woe ridden weariness
upon which you can depend
to lead you to the nothingness
that lies in me my friend
