TENDER FEELINGS: a sonnet
I think that it’s a fact that you like me. I too have feelings of soft love for you. Your feelings rather are too clear to see. I too can’t live without you, it is true. Though I have never mentioned it to you, Nor you have ever whispered it to me, We both do seem to entertain a cue, That jointly has been planned our destiny. My dear, I always harboured a thought that A day will come when you’ll be only mine. It’s not my feeling, rather His diktat, That our lives should together intertwine. All that I need is just a nod from you, That will color my life in a new hue. * Initially written as entry 496672 in the book "LOVE POEMS" M C Gupta 21 March 2007
