BIPOLAR LOVE: a sonnet

I think our love is simply bipolar,
Like poles that attract but remain apart.
While one of us has energy solar,
The other has a tender moonlit art.

Shall both of us be like this forever?
Or, shall one day we mingle into one?
For what fate is destined our endeavor?
Will it fail? Will our dream love be undone?

But why at all think what will be our fate?
The path of love cannot be abandoned.
It may not reach the goal but can’t abate.
The course of love can’t be altered or turned.

Does destination really matter?
It’s more important to be together.
