How sad thy verses I read
Rated: E | Poetry | Experience | #1466322
Whose words are these?

How sad thy verses I read
Whose heart does’th bleed?

Each syllable heavy, weighted.
Each vowel numb, sedated.

Does thy cry for truth?
Shall’th the words be the proof?

Pondering words in clarity.
Fearful words filled with sincerity.

Written for whom and written by?
Written by a soul lived both wet and dry.

How sad thou words I read tonight
How sad tis a heart that bleeds
While these verses fervorish I write
