BROKEN SMILE

I am just a broken smile,
A picture half-painted,
An incomplete song with an
Opening repented;

A path lost in wilderness,
A ship without a shore,
A boat caught in a whirlpool
Without a sail or oar.

I still have those memories
Of days when you and I
To somehow catch the moments
Of love did always try.

Now all is gone, I’m alone,
I must walk a long mile.
And as I walk I carry
With me a broken smile.
