Discovering myself
just my thoughts, no lecturing around

What is my purpose of existence,
What is it that my soul vies for,
What is it that I search in this expanse,
What is it that I want to the core?
What I feel, where can I reach,
Where on earth can I carve my niche,
I’ve been troubled by this quest time and again,
And I’ll reach my aim though I don’t know when!

Life’s a saga of pain for those who feel,
Deeper wounds take time to heal.
But sometime, we must make a new start
Though that may seem to tear us apart.

I have to struggle that I know,
And must carve my path upon which to go.
I don’t believe in fate’s tyranny
‘Coz I am the moulder of my destiny.

That’s my inspiration for my eternal quest for existence
Whose questions fan out in the distance.
But this isn’t the story of a fairy or an elf,
Just me in the process of discovering myself!
