DON’T HATE ME A little boy’s words to his mother. Please don’t hate me for the things I say Or the way I act and what I do. All the words I speak I’ll try to stay, My actions and deeds please forgive me too. ~ I know sometimes, I am really bad But I don’t mean that way to be, That’s got to be why you fight with Dad, I know it’s all because of me. ~ I’ll try real hard to be a good boy And do all of those things I should. Maybe that will bring you love and joy And Dad won’t leave like he said he would. ~ I’ll be so much better, you will see, So I ask again please don’t hate me. 9/1/08 ![]()
