The Heat of the Moment
teenage love at first sight
Rated:

Avg Rating: (5)
I caught your eyes,
my breath was drawn.
In the heat of the moment
I saw something in them.

I held your look,
I dreamed of us - together.
In the heat of the moment
I felt something between us.

I turn,
the heat is gone;
your look tells me so.
Hot flames of embarrassment consume my face,
this is the only heat I'll know.

- written at age 15, some things don't change though
