BROKEN REFLECTION
A broken reflection called life...

BROKEN REFLECTION

A carefully crafted figurine,
once beautiful and serene --
now broken in fragmented shards,
hidden in a dark and misty dream.

Weary of walking a path
wrought with sadness and sorrow,
life reticently wanders...
What does it all mean?

Always letting go
of pain, worry and strife
while embracing foes and woes
in this game called life.

To die bravely --
soul finally sworn
to leave a legacy:
love alone, minus all scorn.

-------------------------

Unless a corn of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it abides alone:  but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit.  ~John 12:24 (paraphrased)
