A short poem about a girl.

A chance connect in cyberspace,

gleaming eyes, digital face,

heartfelt words, emotions flare

consumes us whole, buries us there

bound together in a darkened well

nervous pleasures and excited cells

body highs and mental throes

echoing voices of erupting flows

ringing ears over open lines

warm sensation, tingling spines

heady, breathless decrees of love

wraps us in wings, lifts us above

to level ground, centered once more

lives entwined, histories explored

fates revealed, souls laid bare

accepting tones and unflinching stares

into a battered heart rife with tears

and the tired form that dragged him there

taken in by a warm embrace,

fears melted by an open face

Set aside in a special place

Dusted off, given praise

For trying,

For living,

For giving,

For not giving, in, not dying

Seeing through clearly, synched up souls

Hearing sharply over telephone poles

Connecting wholly though a land apart

Picking up threads to find the start

Pierced right through with Cupid's dart

From hundreds of miles, she stole my heart.
