Missing Out
Missing Out - At times being childish me thinking me. I should be thinking of you eagerly.

Missing Out

Sitting here in this rugged rocking chair.
Wishing for manner that's valiant, and fair.
In dulled understanding, imaged the past.
Sometimes quite selfish, of nominal class.

Heart tugging memories, my ways before.
Seeing vileness, with sadness, now that is sure.
Sad my happiness at times took the stage.
It should have been your score, your happy gage.

Deep worry my loving heart missed it's aim.
Selfish, what I want again every day.
Value soars greatly, known now the way.
You first before all; my kindest of days.

I sit in this big, rugged rocking chair.
How I should have done different is clear.
Those thoughts shake my timbers, sorrowing heart.
Growth stagnant grace, no use in love's art.

At times being childish, me thinking me.
I should be thinking of you, now I see.
Powerful light with you in my thought.
Noble feeling of love, kindling my heart.

Love, I miss you like a moth aches for light,
Soon I will see you, see beauty delight.
