russet? hues of sunset
anger churns in the waves, chaos yearns just before the limpid grey of your veiled silence turbulent? a torn sail, shreds the skipper’s sad heart, no first mate the hold barricades our mute hope Gustav bends too much wind mighty howling, a torrent of whistling a little tune of growing panic… my ardent angel, we cannot fly home on broken wings stranded? we are not gods, nor magicians has our folly brought cerulean thunderbolts? raw umber? eyes of death stare bleakly new moon, timeless ancient night, withers our spirits, placates no anger, murmurs destiny’s ruses confuses the shade on fading cardinal points… the last bottle of rum is dry useless visions of dreams carry us nowhere no regret? lost at sea, abandoned to our enemy, the dark horizon nothing shines on the compass to life only myself to blame… heliotropic light [2008.3.9…b]
