She's Taken My Love
She took her love away.

Missing from my body and soul
she took the thing in her cold hand
watched it fall apart
She took the love that I had
ripped if from my heart

I never knew her to act in this way
I misled myself, believing those eyes
that our love would stay
Never intending to love me for what I am
she took it, crushed it
made me feel sad

She's stolen the life that lived in my heart
Robbed of my energies, I live knowing
she wasn't mine from the start
She fled in the night to heaven above
Such a brilliant vision, she's taken my love.
