Amazing Wolves, Caring for Their Young

A nurturing den of insatiable wolves,
The entire pack of proficient, dedicated hunters
Caring for their newest members.
The alpha giving birth to numerous pups,
Born deaf and blind, for weeks
Being nursed by their dutiful and diligent mother
Inside the cozy, protective den.
The young baby wolves eventually
Gathering in the playground,
Cavorting amongst the young female sitters
Outside the den,
While the experienced, agile, formidable adults
Hunt deer and other less fortunate prey.
The whole pack of amazing scavengers
Eventually leaves the protective den
To scour the wilderness;
The ability of the pups to keep pace as hunters
Alongside their parents
Allowing the pack to leave its wholesome den,
To seek prey with fresh, new, youthful hunters...
