a quiet hush gathers lovers
lifetime partners sharing daydreams a gentle breeze shifts those moonbeams yet your eyes gleam in turquoise smiles in a café we wait a while the crowd beguiles sharing good cheer their voices roar, we only hear the faintest fear for life as one we leave, vanish in autumn’s fun, laughing, we run as children do innocence lights our hearts, and two souls melt into blues without the sadness an early frost brings a white dress and a promise of lasting grace anticipation, like fine lace your tight embrace the passing time the passing time [2008.20.9…c] Written using the Pathya Vat form (with a slight modification in the presentation)
