Hesitation
My hand reaches out Reluctantly My eyes look up Hesitantly I begin to speak I talk idly About nonsensical things That neither of us care about My silence Fills the room I begin to fear Many little things Am I foolish? Am I truly sure? Is there even a possibility? I care not My feelings are too strong But to feel this way And not know the consequences I doubt myself Are you not Happy? Do you not rejoice? I wonder why.. My resolve crumbles I begin to speak No more idle banter My whole reason For being Pours out I cannot stop The flood of words that escapes I fear that flood Will drown you And take you away Forever.
