Terror Takes Flight Into your arms I run from the shadows of the night. Darkness cannot find me; the terror takes flight Safe, now, in your warmth, my heart still beating fast. Frightening things unseen, fade into the past. You are my place of refuge, unlike any other. My protector... My Mother. My Poem for Twilight Poet's Society-Our First Contest Prompt: Use the words "Terror Takes Flight."
