The Night of Goblins Delight
halloween is near - how fun - what do you think of?

The darkness of night has finally arrived,
The night, damp and musty,
with a touch of a breeze.

The clouds pass in front of the moon.
The cats all scurry and hurry to hide.
The cool breeze, through the curtains,
Makes shadows appear.

Then a loud knock upon the door,
as small children appear,
all dressed-up in their favorite guise.

Some witches, some wizards,
a ghost and a vampire too.
All stand in delight.
Awaiting the treats
that you’ll bestow,
On this Hallows night.

Little goblins all run and play in delight,
As the moon light shines
through the clouds of the night.

Howling dogs,
creaking boards,
squeaky doors,

All sounds of this night
of goblins delight.
