Ten o'clock.
Tears begin to puddle; The searing pain returns. Emptiness engulfs my heart As I watch you walk away, So hesitantly... The pain in your eyes Is almost more Than I can bear. Those blue-green eyes Shimmer with a deep sadness, Seeking solace in my face; Yet the same sadness Resonates within me, Revealing itself in a Forced, quivering smile. As I watch helplessly, The pain deepens as you Listen to the unspoken torment From which my soul silently cries, Begging mercy though none be found. I wish upon a true love's kiss That neither of us should suffer This much again And wait...
