See the skull beneath the skin-
An acrid monster burns within. Under waves of bloody emotion- Choked by the current of backward motion. Washed up; And on the other side, a yellow wisdom shore, and wails; as white as pale- A child's bent and broken body. Deathsong. On a sandy floor. Angry trees through bloodshot leaves groan- Crackled creatuers moan in their death, gurgle in their froth and feed on the lump where she lay. But Avaline's gone now- lives in the wind; Pure as Eden's fifth day.
