Altering Habits - (slang words for cigs)
My coffin nails, my cancer sticks - the many names I call my fix.

Altering Habits…

My coffin nails, my cancer sticks -
The many names I call my fix.
My ciggies, stogies, snouts and jacks;
The perfect way to chill, relax…

My common sense says I must quit -
I must find strength to thus commit.
‘Cause smoking's not a healthy way
To live to see another day.

It takes such will to pass them by -
My bogeys, butts - I want to cry!
My housersticks, my hairy rags;
I must abstain – no puffs, no drags.

So wanton is my need for cigs;
My smokes, my gaspers, foster digs,
I do so love the tab and dart;
My reckless ways beset my heart…

I have to say a fond farewell
To habits that do so compel…
My death sticks need to disappear -
God give me strength to persevere.

I finally quit June, 2010 -- YEAH!
