Fleeing Bones
Rated: 13+ | Poetry | Dark | #1478809
Based on a photo that I took of a skeleton model that appeared to be running away.
No pictures!
say the fleeing bones.

I read them
as I write these words
they flee, transfixed, where
caught, their grimace hides

No clues reside
in the fleeing bones nor
fingerprints - organic evidence is
lacking - save the photographic
element of surprise.
My lens the victim
endows time dispossessed.
