                                    Ghazal 105


Persian:  Raseed fasl e gul o baad umber afshshaanast
              Nigaarkhaana e jaanaan bahisht e Rizwaanast
Urdu:      Bahaar gul ba cuff o baad umber afshaan hay
              Nigaarkhaana e jaanaan bahisht e Rizwaan hay

English:=== The flowers are blooming with scent in the air
                  And the girls are also very lovely and fair

Persian:  Ba sarv e baagh keh beenad kanoon keh dar har baagh
              Hazaar sarv ba har gooshaay kharaamaanast
Urdu:      Zara yeh daekh keh kis naaz e dilrubaie say
              Rawish pay baagh ki her, sarv ik kharaamaan hay

English:=== The birds are flying with great fanfare
                  With the conifers swinging in the park everywhere

Persian:  Ajab keh jaam namiuftad az cuff e nargis
              Chunaan keh o ba ghunoodan fitaan o kheezaanast
Urdu:      Ajab hay jaam giray hay na dast e nargis say
              Ghunoodgi maen wo garcheh fitaan o khaizaan hay

                  With the dew in the cup, the tulip is drunk

Persian:  Ba gooshaha e chaman bag e gul chu narma e goosh
              Dar o zay qatra, nigar ta cheh durr e ghaltaanast
Urdu:      Ho goashwaara ba goash e haseen ik jaisay
              Her aek zala rukh e gul pay durr e ghaltaan hay

English:=== Like in the ears of the beautiful girls
                  The drops of dew look like the pearls

Persian:  Chuneen keh nargis o gul chashm ra ba sehn e chaman
              Haminehand magar aastaan e sultaanast
Urdu:      Hujoom e nargis o nasreen o laala o gul say
              Sahan chaman ka bana aastaan e sultaan hay

Persian:  Shagufta baad gul e doolat e to ta ba abad
              Gulay keh bulbul e o KHUSRAV e sanakhaanast
Urdu:      Sada rahay ga shagufta gul u muraad tera
              Keh andaleeb e chaman KHUSRAV e sanakhan hay
