A wicked life I must have lead,
Long ago before I died. I remember not what path I followed, Only that this life‘s been tried. What evil deeds does my past contain? Troubled by my dreams, my thoughts... My purpose yet unclear- Surely I was severe. I walk through this life clouded, unsure; Not understanding where to go. Why, I do not know. So much have I still to give, And want to do in turn. Why then am I lonesome? What have I yet to learn? Do I now pay for sins committed in lives past? From some crooked road, I’ve trod. I beg you Lord; I pray answer me. Deliver me from this nod.
