                                    Ghazal 107


Persian:  Turk e mastam keh qasd e eimaan daasht
              Chashm e o mail e ghaarat e jaan daasht
Urdu:      Zulf e kaafir ko qasd e eimaan hay
              Chashm ko mail e ghaarat e jaan hay

English:=== I've lost not only my faith, my creed
                  For the gals I could lose my life indeed
                                          -

Persian:  Khoon e mun chu sharaab meejooshad
              Waz dilam ham kabaab e biryaan daasht
Urdu:      Josh say khoun bana mai e ahmar
              Soakhta dil kabaab e biryaan hay

English:=== My blood they want instead of the wine
                  On my raosted heart they like to dine

Persian:  Deeda durr meefishaand dar daaman
              Goiya aasteen e marjaan daasht
Urdu:      Durrfishaan chashm say meri daaman
              Ban gaya aek durj e marjaan hay

                  They think my tears are more like pearls

Persian:  Dar e baagh e bahisht bakshaadand
              Baad goie kaleed e Rizwaan daasht
Urdu:      Khoal daeway hay dar bahisht ka ik

              Hamchu mun dast dar gareebaan daasht
Urrdu:      Keh gaie baad kya keh her ghuncha
              Subhadam dast dar gareebaan hay

              Chand shaayad ba sabr pinhaan daasht
