The Dark...

It came upon the evening dreary
My heart just took a pause
I looked into his eyes so bleary
And didn't notice the claws
He shredded it seems
the designer dress of my dreams
He had his way; he wanted to play
Whilst the moonlit hour screams
No I can't complain; Heck, I'm not insane
I stay at the store; Waiting for more
What's a mannequin to do? It's getting so late
There's no other way to get me a date!
I await this stylish man, to take his turn with me
In a store with mannequins as far as the eye can see
So don't think your love life is really that tough
Try being in my skin ... so wooden, so rough!
