e-mails, blogs, and the cell phone;
with no toll to pay or traffic ticket
No need to watch red or green light

Seems it’s not easy to stop them now
Just show them guidelines to follow
How much is enough or when to end
one valuable email needs to be sent.

Religion is driving people to war
Nobody has seen the god so far
But all are waiting for his mercy
To cure the situation so messy

Terrorism has become a religion,
God knows, what to believe in
Who is saving who? and how?
a man–made crisis burning now.

No god can ask man to kill other,
take away the freedom in terror--
it’s a greed for money and power
triggers an act of malice and horror.

The truth about Columbine massacre
Unknown why two boys pulled the trigger?
And more went wrong than lack of gun-law
it probably is a process of thinking at flaw.
These dark forces that take over children
with extreme anger or fear in heart harden
make them murder to cure their smallness
forgetting the great deal of struggle life is!
only hope for future is: hatred won’t distort
minds of our people or harden their hearts.

Let’s believe in miracle and cures and healing well.

A rape victim so helpless and alone
wants to block the thoughts of pain,
an assault she couldn’t avoid or fight
a cost of her life - rapist’s cruel act!

When society doesn’t weed them out
criminals free to wander throughout,
waiting for their prey day and night
no scruples in planning a vicious act.

A rapist may be known or stranger,
Does it really matter when in danger?
If society would punish them hard
enough to scare the criminal world.

Then only we may see some hope
A victim in pain may able to cope.

Racism is universal, created by injustice,
discrimination and mind full of prejudice.
In America which considered as melting pot
of immigrants, it’s still a issue burning hot.

At a core of terrorism is a bleeding racism,
attacking the power with root antagonism
which retaliated with the same hostility
with no concern for the justice or liberty.

Roses can be red, white or yellow, still Roses
Birds can be singing, small or big, still birds
Hair, black, red, blond or brown, still hair
Why can’t he be a man white, black, yellow?

Diversity in society should make it richer
But ignorance of minds resulted in weaker.
Respect within the cultures needs to establish
That’s may be the first step for racism to finish.

Children today are busy with high tech
Computers, cell phones, Videos, DVDs,
My space, face book, you tube new age
toys, that overflow their minds and home.

Their topics of entertainment are new,
simple playing with friends as play-dates,
schools with full of activities, but a few
minutes of freedom to ask for whats?

Too many schedules to keep, busy parents,
Shuffling through the career, home and all
Activities all week long, family has fast-food,
fighting an issue of obesity, big and small.

Each generation has its own problems
time changes, lifestyle differs, simple
living is no more accepted, old way it is
the best path of love in family and will.

But question is, change to what?
Honesty and good ideas versus
honesty and principles to compare.

Deep-seated racial doubts
did not stop the nomination
but the end may not be the same;
it may reveal at counting votes.

The country is in turmoil,
Economy on downhill;
Why bail out the swindlers,
without punishing them?

Actually none of the candidates
can do the damage-control
in trying to please everybody;
building the nation is the remedy.

For them to act towards
The conditions of threat
No choice but act to accept.

Parents should be more alert
Warn children of the threat
The posted activities on PC
They make sure safe to see
Should help them in instant
Joining the protection front
To stop pornography at last
by weeding each account out
Monitoring internet activities
Not an easy task for utilities;
But a must for communities.

Memories of school days:
the innocent, happy ways;
busy with studies and friends-
the magic of learning trends.

The news of school shooting
are very heart breaking.
What motivates it?
It’s hard to find out.
Nobody knows for sure
the disease has no cure.

Is arming the teachers
providing us answers?
It may just add to the arms
without knowing of harms.
The victims are classmates
Is it their unknown fate?

This could be that has no solution;
student’s unrest has no prediction,
if all of us would change our thinking
to more simpler ways of upbringing;
not just minding money and winning
but feeling compassion, even caring.

But it can make a difference around
when lonely or sad people surround.

Smile can lift the depressed spirit-
The perfect way to greet and meet-
It takes the tensions, stress away;
keeps the evil thoughts at a bay.

A simple smile can be a very popular
aspect of personality a distinct allure,
and definitely better than a long face
which can drive others to remote place.

A world torn apart in front of our eyes,
we couldn't stop the panic or cries.
It inflamed the hearts, amplified pain,
triggered the war for nothing to gain.

Condition seems at a point of no return;
need to reform for the peace to earn,
with the monumental task waits ahead,
many people are starving for a bread.

It's only feasible for him to mend,
His mercy would get chaos to end.
Let's pray for his kindness, all of us
with honest devotion until he affirms!

Displays the portrait of the fall

Long burnt by summer's heat
Yellow-orange rusty leaves
Rustle from trees to rest on earth
As a blanket their color weaves

Autumn, a seasoned season
After flourishing, ample life
Detaching to the calm reason
Towards the inward roots rife

Shorter days, with cool breeze
Bare stumps keeping roots in
Serene, still in the snow freeze
A promise of the seed within.
