Softly through the night
there whispers in my heart,
gentle words of tender caring
telling me to have no worries.

The rising sun in all her glory
lights our lives and warms our bodies,
night skies so star filled
soft moonlight stealing kisses.

Dark eyes meet each other
blend with such sweet melting,
tender, shaky smiles
lips quiver with the passions.

Firelight flickers, all are dancing,
finger tips brush each other,
each touch brings us closer.

Your hands slide along my arm
sending shocks right through me,
swaying together to the music.

The whole world fades away to nothing,
silence drops around us,
silvered dark skin glowing, your smile wakes my knowing.

How long is a lifetime,
how many days will the magic last,
how many precious moments, you whisper let us find out?

I have known you my whole life,
in my dreams you walked, now you are here to my touch,
together now we will move forward.

No more running from each other,
the love we sought, we found
waiting in the heart of our best friend.

Together we share so much,
those things that to us are so important,
