Depths of Reality
A poem looking at life beyond what one can see with natural eye or grasp with human hand

Framing a life by experience
limits what you behold.
Knowing that you know
what you have not seen
gives wings to your soul.

The eye of a man’s heart
with great acuity
can see into the dark
and grab what therein lies
deep in concealed reality.

Vast horizons with no end
The earth isn’t flat but round;
and the sun does not rise,
nor does the moon fall,
and the morning star makes no sound.

Beyond the mind of any man
lies more than he will see
Things he’ll never touch or hold
Unless he looks beyond the edge
of this life into the one to be
