Falling Fast

The wind begins to gently blow,
as tears cascade down my face.
Wishing that you were still here,
to be lost in your sweet embrace.

Searching for strength.....to move on.

Falling fast..............
Since you've been gone.

Memories that will always burn,
for my nights are still filled with pain.
I promised I would remain strong,
but I feel there's nothing left to gain.

With you.........I always felt peace.

Help me.......
to make this pain cease.

Quickly send me the answers,
to the questions that plague me.
I'm still searching for the path,
that will finally set me free.

Your gravestone etched...in marble stone.

Always here........
Never alone.

Written when my dear friend passed and the heartache his wife had felt. This is my interpretation of her feelings of loss and the sorrow that only she could feel.
