Thanksgiving

Time to be grateful for all we
Hold dear, we stop and remember the
Awesome blessings God bestows.
New and old relatives mingle and chat.
Kinfolk fill the house with
Smells of special foods and family joy.
Gratitude is expressed by each
Individual as part of the yearly ritual.
Visitors feel warmth from the
Inherited family values witnessed this day.
No one leaves empty; everyone
Goes home stuffed with overflowing hearts.
