Fiction: The God Named Poe

The 3rd Episode of Fiction. Edgar Allen Poe seeks to obtain godlike power.

So...here it is, Episode 3 of Fiction. I know, I know...Episode 2 isn't finished yet. Oddly, I wrote this one even before I started writing Episode 1. At the time it was written, this story was the longest episode I'd completed.

The God Named Poe plot is got so large because, when I had the first inkling of an idea for the Fiction series, there was Gerald and the Da'kri. Before there was Author Daxton Wreaths, there was the story of a boy who got sucked into his own unfinished story to discover the chaos he'd created by not completing his task. Not surprisingly, he sets things right in the end (with a little help from H.G. Wells).

This new version of Da'kri is a far cry from that initial story. Daxton isn't what you'd call 'kid-friendly', but he gets the job done, with a little grumbling here and there along the way. The Da'kri are still as I'd imagined them (for the most part) and Gerald, the original Author who started all the wheels turning in my head, hasn't changed a bit.

And remember, this is all still a work in progress, so any comments or reviews will be most appreciated.
