Swing
Mood swings also fall into Newton's third law...

Round and round,
my head does spin.
Anxious, paranoid,
when will it end?

Feeling really good,
as high as a kite.
A stone's throw,
back on the ground.

Thoughts plague me,
maybe, what if?
Horrible visions,
living nightmares.

Cycle continues
with ups and downs.
Voices run faster,
my head won't stop.

Finally, it's quiet.
I begin to relax.
Then I worry that
I've lost my mind.

My thoughts, I try to race
to feel "normal" again.
Then I lose control
and fall all over again.
