Awake my heart, as morning light at last
comes streaming through and overcomes the dark Awaiting this moment, arise from past. On this fair day, be sure to leave a mark. Hold up your head, there’s no reason for shame. Righteousness and truth are now yours to claim. Alive again by the blood of the Son, there’s no more struggle; victory is won. Author's Note: Rispetto: Any complete poem of two rhymed quatrains.
