Patchwork
Our lives are made up of moments in time

Moments in time sewn together
Stitched by the Creators hand.
Good times, bad times,
Pain, joy and sorrow.

See that old black velvet piece?
The death of my child.
The red gingham is the day I said "I do."
The white cotton with pink flowers?
Gracie's birth.
The brown silk is my cancer.
That plaid? The moment I finally loved myself.
And the piece that is still missing?
That will be added on the day I die.

Separate pieces of a life
Blended into a patchwork quilt.
Worn soft with age
Unique and beautiful.
