NaNoWriMo 2008
Career driven Trisha is in the middle of a big project for her clients, their daughter Cleo's wedding. All is going well, until one day she bumps into the guy she accidentally slept with once, Hayden. We all make mistakes. Now she has to work with him.
Marcus Davenport, sexy, funny, and intelligent walks into Trisha's life, complicating it even further. She thinks he's the perfect man for her, but Hayden is adamant about trying to prove otherwise.
But the biggest threat in Trisha's life isn't Hayden, it's something more darker and sinister than she ever realised. Trisha's reaction to this is to do everything she possibly can, but according to the nature of Murphy's Law, it's never enough.
