Something Beautiful
I am something beautiful - a woman recreated, a princess sweetly kissed and awaken. Each loss filled 10,000 fold, each missing piece replaced anew. A promise made to me. This I see because of You. I want to create something beautiful for You. A graceful dance, soulful song, or divine words, blessed laughter, to bring your spirit among us. My body into your hands, my mind unto your use -- dressed in earthly fineries, bedecked in heavenly humbleness; simply fashioned as prose inspired. Art incarnate, voicelessly You sing through us. I promise, something so lovely for You. Can a bride forget her jewels? or a maid her ornaments? Yet, I had forgotten You; our divine promise shared. But You see gold in human fraility and You move my soul towards You, from You, all You. It is something beautiful to see. The lovely life promised in every eye. The grace-filled moments in our hearts. And still, I want to make something beautiful for You. **************************************************************************** Note: this poem is part of a collection, to read more please see: "the C-word"
